Ryia and Carrie One of the hardest parts
of this year was living, working and worshiping with my teammate Ryia. But we
didn't give up. This picture was at the end of the year as we posed in our matching
outfits. You can see the Uzbek flag on our t-shirts and we bought our pants at
a local store for about $5. Note the duct-tape on Ryia's feet. Her sandals were
giving her sores, but she was too stubborn to go out and buy new ones until I
offered to go with her and help her find a good deal (I've discovered that I'm
really good at bargaining!).
