"Monte Man": My teammate, Ryia, and I have one Cafe where we always go for monte and shashlik. Monte is an Uzbek dumpling and this man makes it and sells it. He is so happy and friendly that we always say "hi" when we pass by even when we don't buy anything from him. Shashlik is Uzbek style shishkabob. It's their equivqalent of hamburgers in America in that it's hot, greasy, and fast. The only thing is that they like to eat chunks of fat here, so it's usually served with a piece of fat between each piece of meat. It doesn't taste too bad unless you eat it cold. They drink hot tea after the meal to get the coating of fat to melt off the top of your mouth.
