Like Our Hats? Ryia and I tried on these hats just for fun, but most of the men here wear them the whole winter. One of the funniest sights is when they put a plastic bag over the hat when it snows or rains to keep it from getting wet and then put the whole thing on top of their head!!!! Other times the fur is the same color as their hair and it looks like an overgrown tupee! Oh, and speaking of tupees, or rather wigs, some of the Russian women will wear wigs like hats in the winter! You can see their natural hair all around the sides and the wig is just set on top!
